Die hard
In the opening two minutes of the film Die hard the camera zooms in on the gun, which becomes obvious when the man reaches up for his luggage. This indicates that the genre of the film is action, it also introduces the main character who has been a cop for 11 years. At the begining, the opening credits are interlinked with the background scene. They use a tracking shot when the plane lands on the runway and you sense the man's fear of flying as he is gripping the chair. On the plane you hear an announcent that it is Christmas, which gives the impression that he is going home to see his kids, especially because he is holding a bear. As the man gets into the airport the music goes from a brief intro of bells to an instrumental, that holds the audience in suspense almost like something is going to happen. The scene quickly changes to show another part of the story line, Die hard has a rating of 18 so it targets a varied audience.
