horror cliches

Answering
the Phone- classic way of communicating with the killer

Dingy
locations give away Death scenes

Woods
Isolated places e.g. - Middle of nowhere
Large houses

Evil killers sometimes children – e.g. - Orphan
Maniacs e.g. – Saw

Moments that make you jump e.g. – sliding of a bathroom
cupboard then the killers face appearing

Isolations- people on their own often get killed,
includes tense moments when you think and scream run.

Killings are brutal – sometimes gory in 18’s, you rarely
see the killer near the beginning and blondes usually die first.

Moments when you turn to others and say did you see that
– (Climax/ Anti-climax?)
